JCD Drainage Solutions were commissioned by a commercial company to undertake a Flood Risk Assessment to support a change of use planning application.  The flood risk assessment looked at the existing flood resilience measures which were present and JCD Drainage Solutions recommended further resilience measures to further protect the commercial property from future flooding.

JCD Drainage Solutions were commissioned by a property developer to undertake a surface water flood risk report.  This involved the creation of a hydraulic model with the use of ReFH2 to derive the rainfall to determine the flood extents in relation to the property.

JCD Drainage Solutions were commissioned by a client to produce a surface water drainage design to drain a new area of impermeable surfacing.  The project involved the determination of attenuation storage and pipe sizing, full hydraulic network calculations and full general arrangement drawing containing all the information for construction.

JCD Drainage Solutions were comissioned by a home owner to undertake a Flood Risk Assessment for the construction of an outbuilding in Flood Zone 3.  The report assessed the fluvial, pluvial and groundwater flood risk.  JCD Drainage Solutions suggested property flood resilience measures to ensure that the effect to the building from any flood event was minimal.

JCD Drainage Solutions were commissioned by a house builder to undertake a Flood Risk Assessment for a development of 10 residential dwellings.  The Flood Risk Assessment assessed the risk to the development from fluvial, pluvial and groundwater. The latest available flood modelling data level from the Environment Agency was utilised to ensure the finished floor levels for the dwelling were raised above the 0.1% Annual Exceedance Probability event.

JCD Drainage Solutions were commissioned by a house builder and planning consultant to undertake a sequential test in accordance with the national planning policy framework to determine there were no other sites of similar size and development cost that were located in a lower zone of flood risk.  The review included all sites with the local plan and strategic housing land availability assessment as well as any other land that was available for purchase on the local market.

JCD Drainage Solutions were commissioned by a property developer in West Yorkshire to undertake a surface water design for a new build dwelling. The project involved producing full hydraulic drainage calculations and a full general arrangement drawing with invert levels for the pipework and manholes. The project involved tight discharge restrictions imposed by the local water company which required a flow control device and associated attenuation storage.  JCD Drainage Solutions provided a cost effective and constructible solution to meet all constraints.
